Gran Turismo 7 — Launching the greatest racing simulation in PlayStation history
There are rewards beyond the finish line. The highly anticipated Gran Turismo 7 was a generational leap forward for the worlds greatest racing simulation. We asked gamers to “Find your line” in reference to racings perfect way to navigate a particular track but also meaning that there is more to the game than just racing, we asked racers to find their personal style within the game. The game itself offers limitless entry points and ways to stay engaged. Through a multi-channel campaign, complete with a unique design system, we showed gamers the limitless entry points to the game.
Building hype
Knowing that the gaming world would be hanging on every trailer, we built hype by using our design system to tease fan-favorite tracks from previous iterations of Gran Turismo that would be making a return. Gaming forums and social media quickly took notice and begin to stitch together the clues.
Selection of additional imagery
Gran Turismo 7 sales sold over 198,000 copies in its first year becoming the second best selling title for PlayStation 2022.
